Příbram is famous as a mining town, which is now commemorated by the Příbram Mining Museum, one of the largest mining museums in the Czech Republic.
Nowadays, the town is mainly known for the pilgrimage site Svatá Hora, where the Baroque monastery complex is located.
You can also visit a number of churches, the most famous of which Church of St. James can be found on the nearby T.G. Masaryk Square .
